Marc Asnin

His work named "Uncle Charlie" is about his uncle and godfather, and how he feels that he is the only one to embrace him as family. The series depicts issues of isolation, drug addiction, mental disorders, anorexia, and the result of failure in life. His images are stark, real, dark, and have a sense of fear to go along with them as well. Marc Asnin went to school for photography at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. He was influenced by his father, an advertising photography, to pursue photography. His work is dramatic strong and very closely tied to his own life.
